Moving Procedures

We request that your move be scheduled to begin after 6 p.m. and be completed prior to 7:00 a.m. Monday through Friday, or at any time on Saturday or Sunday. 

Our management staff and building employees make many preparations for your move. To help facilitate the process, please make sure we have been informed of your move-in date and moving company information as soon as possible.  The Management Office can be reached at (949) 253-3428.

Moving vans are required to access the building through the building’s basement loading dock.  The basement entrance is located on the northeast side of the building off Gillette Street.  Please advise your moving company the basement has a Fifteen (15) foot height clearance and will require the use of vans not more than Forty-Five (45) feet in length.  If you will be using more than one (1) moving van, please arrange their arrival and unloading so that no vans are parked on Gillette Street waiting to unload.  Vans, trucks and cars are permitted in designated areas only and may not be driven or parked on the turf block fire lane roadway between the building and the parking structure.  There should be no moving of any furniture or equipment through the first or second floor of the building, unless your suite is located on either of these two floors.

Your moving company must provide padding and/or masonite material for doorways and corridors. If you are moving small items by car and using a hand truck, dolly or cart, please use the basement loading dock and freight elevator.

If you wish to dispose of packing boxes and other material, please place them in the dumpsters in the basement via the freight elevator.  We appreciate your help in cleaning up after your move.

Please advise your moving company supervisor of the policies and information set forth in this letter.  We also recommend the moving company visit our loading dock area and/or communicate with security or the management office in advance to answer any questions.
