Cleaning

The Building cleaning specifications require that your office space be cleaned nightly Sunday through Thursday, with the exception of building holidays, and that all common areas and restroom facilities throughout the building be maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.  There is no janitorial service on weekends unless special arrangements have been made thru the Management office.

We would like to take this opportunity to request your assistance in maintaining the neat and clean appearance of the building.  We would greatly appreciate it if you and your staff immediately reported any cleaning and maintenance problems such as carpet stains, graffiti and lights out in public areas or elevators to the Management Office.

Nightly Cleaning

  • Empty all waste receptacles.  Clean and relined as needed.  Remove material to designated areas.
  • Remove large centrally located recycling bins when full (tenants will be responsible for emptying the desk side bins into the larger bins)
  • Vacuum all carpeted main traffic and common use areas, including conference rooms, reception areas, interior stairwells, hallways and corridors with the exception of individual offices (see weekly).
  • Main all carpeted flooring clear of debris.
  • Wash and sanitize all drinking fountains.
  • Damp mop spillage in uncarpeted office areas.
  • Spot clean carpets to remove light spillage.
  • Assure all designated locked doors are closed after the area has been cleaned.
  • Activate all alarm systems as instructed by occupant (if applicable)
  • Arrange chairs at desk and conference room tables and turn off lights upon exiting.
  • Clean conference room tables and remove any remaining food items.
  • Clean and sweep all lunchroom/eating ares.  Wash and wipe tables and counter tops and clean sinks.
  • Remove scuff marks on floor as needed.

Weekly Services

Sunday: Floors 12, 11, 10
Monday: Floors 9, 8, 1
Tuesday: Floors 5, 4
Wednesday: Floors 7, 6
Thursday: Floors 2, 3
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas completely: private offices, cubicle interiors, desk area spaces and under waste containers.
  • Dust and wipe clean with damp or treated cloth all office furniture, file cabinets, cubicle partition tops, picture frames, window sills, mullions, frames, etc. (Items and papers on desk tops and shelves will not be moved)
  • Remove all finger marks and smudges from all vertical surfaces, including doors, door frames, around light switches, private entrance glass and partitions.
  • Damp wipe andpolish all glass furniture tops.
  • Damp mop hard surfaced floors and/or uncarpeted surface floors.
  • Sweep uncarpeted floors employing dust control techniques with the exception of the lunchroom/break areas (which are to be performed nightly)

Monthly Services

1st Monday: Floors 1-3
2nd Monday: Floors 4-6
3rd Monday: Floors 7-9
4th Monday: Floors 10-12
  • Dust, wipe and clean chair bases and arms, telephone receivers, cubicle, shelves, window sills, ledges and all other horizontal surfaces as needed to maintain a clean appearance (Papers and others items on desk tops or shelves will not be moved for cleaning).
  • Edge vacuum all carpeted areas, as needed.
  • Dust ceiling vents, air diffusers and surfaces above 7 feet.

Quarterly Services

January, March, May, July, September, November: Even floors
February, April, June, August, October December: Odd floors
  • Scrub and wax all hard surfaced floors
